Stratford baseball blasts Loyal

LOYAL – Stratford scored 12 times in the second inning and rolled to a 19-3 win over Loyal in a nonconference baseball game Monday at Loyal High School.

Stratford (5-3) took advantage of 16 walks and seven Loyal errors to cruise to the win and hand the Greyhounds (5-1) their first loss of the season.

Henry Zaleski, Alec Chapel and Landon Zawislan all had four RBI for the Tigers.

Stratford will travel to Auburndale for a Marawood Conference South Division game Tuesday. First pitch is set for 4:45 p.m.
