WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Marshfield won one event and placed third at the Wisconsin Valley Conference JV Girls Track Meet on Thursday at Lincoln High School.
Olivia Sommers won the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 8 inches, for the Tigers’ lone event win.
Earning runner-up finishes for Marshfield were Ryann Kilty in the long jump (14-11.5), Keara Ronning in the 300-meter hurdles (54.45), Abby Cera in the shot put (28-5.75) and discus (84-4), and the 800 relay team of Ava Forst, Alana Schoen, Hope Kelnhofer and Issie Wojcik (2:00.87).
Placing third for the Tigers were the 400 relay team of Kaylie Charron, Peyton Daul, Maggie Willuweit and Faith Blaskowski (56.99), Daul in the long jump (14-10.5), Lani Elmhorst in the 200 (28.79), Sommers in the 100 hurdles (19.05), Kilty in the 400 (1:05.71) and Miram McKee in the 1,600 (6:15.34).
