STRATFORD – Marry Messaan had a league-high 42 points to lead Resource Recovery to a 96-52 win over Rozellville Lions as the Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League held six games on Sunday night.
Jimmy Flink scored 21 points to lead Smazel’s Hunters Choice to a 94-90 win over Marawood Construction. Bryan Weichelt had 23 points and Jesse Adams added 20 for Marawood.
Chad Sternitzky scored 28 points for Festival Foods in a 78-76 loss to Bro’s.
DFF Kitchen Cabinets got 31 points from Shawn Lee and Louie Janssen had 22 as it beat Victory Apparel 96-89. Mike Riemer led Victory Apparel with 28 points.
Kyle Davis was the night’s second-leading scorer, totaling 41 points for Crew Entertainment in a 102-62 win over L&N Hardwoods. Andy Bliven added 22 points for Crew. Justin Rothamer led L&N with 21 points.
