STRATFORD – Seven games were held in the Stratford STAR men’s basketball league on Sunday night in Stratford.
Aaron Linzmeier earned high-scoring honors by pouring in 47 points for Banger’s Bar & Grill in a 120-97 win over Festival Foods. Neil Weiler added 33 points for Banger’s. Chad Sternitzky had 26 points and Nick Sternitzky added 22 for Festival Foods.
Jesse Adams scored 27 points, Bryan Weichelt had 26, Mark Mews scored 24 and Casey Meyer had 21 in Marawood Construction’s 115-63 victory over L&N Hardwoods. Josh Franklin scored 27 points for L&N.
Chris Fischer hit for 31 points in Selma’s 91-64 win over Resource Recovery. Eric Messman scored 21 for Resource.
Jake Frombach led Down Under with 31 points and Brandon Chrouser chipped in 21 in a 93-75 victory over Rozellville Lions. Jake Kolb had 29 points for Rozellville.
Chrew Entertainment defeated DFF Kitchen Cabinets 104-81 behind Andy Bliven’s 43 points and Tony Schultz’s 25. Justin Matsick had 28 points and Lou Janssen had 22 for DFF.
Jim Flink scored 31 points for Smazel’s in a 105-97 victory over Bro’s. Ryan Schalow had 36 points and Eric Custer added 20 for Bro’s.
Chris Klempke had 35 points, Clint Schlinsog had 32 and Mike Reimer added 26 for Victory Apparel in a 105-88 win over The Shack. Steve Veers had 22 points for The Shack.
