UW-Marshfield/Wood County tennis competes at Baraboo Triangular

BARABOO – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County tennis teams took part in a triangular meet at UW-Baraboo on Monday.

The men’s team beat Baraboo 4-3 and lost to UW-Waukesha 5-3, while women lost to Baraboo 4-0 and also competed against Waukesha, but no team score was kept.

Marshfield’s Jared Ystad won two matches at No. 4 singles and Mike La Fave, Brock Baumann, Joe Gouin and Breann Haubert each went 1-1 for the Marauders.

UW-Marshfield/Wood County is scheduled to play a triangular, along with UW-Washington County, on Wednesday at UW-Fox Valley in Menasha. The Marauders host the Marshfield Invitational on Saturday at Marshfield High School.
