YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Marshfield High School graduate Cale Zuiker continues his season as a freshman on the Youngstown State University men’s basketball team.
Zuiker was 1 of 4 shooting overall and 1 of 3 from 3-point range, scoring three points in nine minutes in the Penguins’ loss to Akron on Dec. 19.
He did not play in the last two games for Youngstown State, which improved to 7-6 and 2-1 in the Horizon League with a 73-67 upset win at Cleveland State on Dec. 31.
Overall, Zuiker is 5 of 12 from 3-point range and 5 of 14 overall for 15 points in eight games played (1.9 points per game).
Youngstown State hosts Loyola (Ill.) on Thursday and Illinois-Chicago on Saturday.
