Auburndale girls basketball blows past Rib Lake

RIB LAKE – The Auburndale girls basketball team dominated Rib Lake from start to finish winning 58-9 in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Rib Lake High School.

All 11 players on the Auburndale roster scored in the victory, which pushes its record to 9-4. Rib Lake falls to 1-12.

Sam Karl scored 12 points, and Nicole Nikolay had 10 rebounds and was one of four Apaches to score six points in the win.

Auburndale led 9-5 after the first quarter before rampaging Rib Lake, outscoring them 21-2 in the second quarter and 49-4 the rest of the way.

Auburndale plays at Northland Lutheran on Friday.
