Marshfield’s Elliot Ashbeck, Auburndale’s Markus Kleifgen and Stratford’s Derek Austin have been chosen to play in the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association boys basketball games on June 16 in Wisconsin Dells.
Ashbeck was named to the Division 1 North team, while Kleifgen and Austin were picked to the Division 4 North squad.
Ashbeck, a unanimous first-team all-Wisconsin Valley Conference selection, wrapped up his career with 967 points which ranks him fourth on Marshfield’s all-time scoring list. Ashbeck led the WVC in scoring this season, averaging 21.1 points per game.
Kleifgen averaged 13.3 points and 5.5 rebounds a game for Auburndale, helping the Apaches to the Marawood Conference South Division championship.
The all-star games will be held on the Just a Game Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.
The five girls games will be held Friday, June 15, with the boys games on Saturday, June 16.
