AUBURNDALE – Nicole Nikolay had 11 kills and Kendra Kundinger had 20 assists and 15 digs to lead the Auburndale volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Amherst in a nonconference match Thursday night at Auburndale High School.
The Apaches won 25-16, 25-6, 25-19.
Shannon Yahnke added six kills and Ashley Breu and Camille Swart each had five in a balanced attack for Auburndale. Kelly Brokish and Cheyenne Karl each had seven digs as well for the Apaches.
Auburndale hosts Marathon on Tuesday in its final home match and final Marawood Conference match of the regular season. Auburndale will clinch the Marawood South Division championship with a victory.
