Dolezal named WVC wrestler of the year

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield High School wrestler Brad Dolezal was named the Wisconsin Valley Conference wrestler of the year on a vote by the seven conference coaches.

Dolezal was 6-0 in dual meets and won the 152-pound Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament title at Stevens Point Area Senior High on Feb. 7.

Dolezal, a junior, went on to win the 145-pound championship at the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament last Saturday in Madison. Dolezal finished the season with a perfect 48-0 record.
