Marshfield grad Taylor Varsho grabs five rebounds in Colorado State’s loss to Providence

BRONX, N.Y. – Marshfield High School graduate Taylor Varsho did not score in 14 minutes, but hauled down five rebounds for the Colorado State women’s basketball team in a 71-53 loss to Providence in the first round of the Fordham Holiday Classic on Saturday.

Varsho has played in all 11 games for the Rams this season, including five starts. She is averaging 4.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.

Colorado State (3-8) plays Fordham at noon Central Time on Sunday in the consolation game of the tournament.
