Spencer boys basketball roughs up Granton

GRANTON – Mitchell Susa scored 25 points and Calvin Lenz had eight points and a team-high 13 rebounds to help the Spencer boys basketball team to a comfortable 60-37 win over Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Monday night at Granton High School.

Lenz made five 3-pointers and had five steals for the Rockets.

Joe Meyers added 11 points and Bobby Pilz had 10 as Spencer improves to 7-11 and 6-10 in the Cloverbelt East. Granton remains moves to 1-17 and 0-16 in the conference.

Bill Pongratz topped the Bulldogs with eight points.

Spencer jumps right back into action Tuesday with a nonconference game at Abbotsford.
