Marshfield second at 2013 D.C. Everest Evergreen Boys Track & Field Invitational

WESTON – Keiron Howlett won the high jump and 110-meter hurdles to lift the Marshfield boys track team to a second-place finish at the 2013 D.C. Everest Evergreen Boys Track & Field Invitational on Friday at Stiehm Stadium.

Howlett won the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 3 inches, and took first in the 110 hurdles in 15.32 seconds for the Tigers.

Marshfield finished with 119 points, second to D.C. Everest’s 188.

Other winners for Marshfield included Matt Oestreich in the long jump (21-6 1/2), Derek Coffren in the 400 (53.32), Nolan Redetzke in the 3,200 (10:08.89) and the 3,200 relay team of Ryan Hayes, Thomas Kruger, Redetzke and Mack Scheppler in (8:45.73).

Chris Pahl was second in the triple jump (41-10) and Hayes ended up second in the 1,600 (4:44.93) as well for Marshfield.
