MARSHFIELD – Mosinee pounded out 23 hits and proved unstoppable as the Marshfield softball team dropped a 14-0 decision to the Indians on Monday at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.

Mosinee scored five times in the second and sixth innings as it rolled to the win.

Carly Krueger was 4-for-5, Jordyn Heintz went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles, and Macee Beste had a single and a solo home run to lead the hit parade for Mosinee.

Jordan Green had a single and a double, and Miranda Baierl had two singles for Marshfield, which was held to six hits and couldn’t score against Mosinee pitcher Rochelle Koshalek.
