Marshfield Chaparrals rip Waupaca

WAUPACA – Ryan Williams struck out 13 over six innings as the Marshfield Chaparrals defeated the Waupaca Lakemen 7-1 in amateur baseball action Friday at Memorial Field.

Williams allowed just one run and walked two to earn the victory for the Chaparrals, who improve to 6-2 on the season.

Josh Barnes had three hits and two RBIs, and Eric Pritzl had a double, a triple and three RBIs to lead the Chaparrals.

Marshfield hosts Plover on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Jack Hackman Field.
