Marshfield Chaparrals whip Norwalk

MARSHFIELD – Bobby Gregorich had a single, a double and five RBIs to lead the Marshfield Chaparrals defeated the Norwalk Knights 16-6 in amateur baseball action Wednesday night at Jack Hackman Field.

Marshfield trailed 3-1 after 2½ innings before scoring 10 runs over the next three innings. The Chaparrals (5-2) finished off the win via the 10-run rule with five runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Austin Littmann and Justin Rayburn each went 3-for-4, with Littmann scoring four runs for the Chaps.

Ryan Metz earned the win, striking out four in seven innings.

Marshfield is back in action Friday night at Waupaca.
