MARSHFIELD – Hannah Kruse had 12 kills and Natalie Posthyhalla had a team-high 27 digs to lead the Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team to a 3-1 win over Northland Lutheran in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.
The Dons, the eighth seed in the Sectional 2 bracket in Division 4, moves on to a regional semifinal Thursday at No. 1 seed Wausau Newman Catholic.
Columbus won 25-15, 25-15, 15-25, 25-18.
Abby Baierl had seven kills and 19 digs, setter Tara Brock had 24 assists and Kruse added five blocks for the Dons.
