UW-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball drops close one at UW-Fox Valley

MENASHA – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team dropped its second straight game, losing at UW-Fox Valley 72-67 on Monday night.

The Marauders drop to 5-5 overall and 4-3 in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference.

Corrine Meacham scored 23 points on 11 of 15 shooting, and Corina Craig added 18 points and eight rebounds for the Marauders.

Mikayla Jankowski also had nine points and seven rebounds in the loss for Marshfield.

Chey McFarlin had 28 points on 12 of 19 shooting, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range, and had six rebounds for the Cyclones.

UW-Marshfield/Wood County hosts UW-Richland on Wednesday.
