STRATFORD – Five players scored 20 points or more as Arby’s cruised to a 132-73 win over Country Wireless in Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League action on Sunday.
Nick Sternitzky and Mack Scheppler each scored 33 points, Kole Oppman had 24, Jeremy Bulgrin added 22 and Chad Sternitzky had 20 points for Arby’s. Tim Budtke led Country Wireless with 30 points.
In other action Sunday:
*The Shack II defeated Smazel’s Hunters Choice 77-70. Jake Frombach poured in 35 points for The Shack II. Chris Hannula had 25 points and Jimmy Flink scored 20 for Smazel’s.
*Joel Christopherson had 20 points to lead Resource Recovery to a 63-61 victory over Marshfield Country Club.
*Marawood Construction beat USBancorp 82-74. Chris Kolstad had 24 points for Marawood. USBancorp’s Chris Newburry led all scorers with 31 points.
*Neil Weiler had 31 points, Jay Fuehrer had 25 and Aaron Linzmeier scored 22 to lead Kizzy & Sue’s Bar & Grill to a 96-77 win over Rose Bowl. Ryan Danczak had 22 points for Rose Bowl.
*Davis Auto edged The Shack 62-59. Kyle Davis had 26 points for Davis Auto.
*Andy Bliven had a league-high 41 points for A&B Processing Systems 97-69 win over Dental Crafters. Bill Bejcek had 28 points for Dental Crafters.
*Victory Apparel beat A&B Processing Systems 97-82. Bill Hanson had 27 points, Conner Staab had 26 and Mike Reimer chipped in with 23 for Victory Apparel. Bliven led A&B with 27 points.
