WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Michael Josephson shot an 83 to lead the Marshfield boys golf team in its season-opener Friday at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.
Marshfield shot a team total of 346 to finish third in the three-team meet. Wisconsin Rapids won the meet with a 315 and Rhinelander was second with a 343.
Mike Field had an 84, Pat Hayes shot an 87 and Jake Plank had a 92 to round out the scoring for the Tigers.
Aaron Bravick of Wisconsin Rapids shot a three-over par 75 to earn medalist honors.
Marshfield hosts Wausau West, Wisconsin Rapids and D.C. Everest in a four-team meet on Tuesday at Riveredge Golf Club in Marshfield.
