MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Clinic Post 54 Blue Demons Junior American Legion baseball team split a doubleheader with Merrill on Monday.
Merrill won Game 1 11-5 before the Blue Demons came back to shutout Merrill 6-0 and improve to 2-3 this season.
Bobby Pilz earned the win for Marshfield in Game 2.
Jared Klein, Brendon Collins and Paul Maguire each had RBI singles in the victory for the Blue Demons.
Marshfield plays a twinbill at RSW on Tuesday.
