Auburndale’s Wyatt Weiler, Stratford’s Hunter Kauffman selected to play in WFCA All-Star Game

Two local players and one coach have been named to the rosters for the 2015 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Games, which will be played Saturday, July 18, at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.

Auburndale defensive end Wyatt Weiler and Stratford inside linebacker Hunter Kauffman have been named to the Small School North squad.

Stratford head coach Jason Tubbs will serve as an assistant coach to Oshkosh Lourdes’ Shane Obrigewitch for the North team.

Weiler was a first-team selection at both quarterback and defensive end last season to the All-Marawood Conference team, and was named Offensive Back of the Year.

Kauffman was a first-team all-Marawood pick at both inside linebacker and offensive end, and was named the Lineman of the Year.

There will be three all-star games played at Titan Stadium on July 18. The 8-man game kicks off at 10 a.m., with the Small School contest at 2 p.m. and the Large Schools game at 6 p.m.
