Four Marshfield hockey players earned all-conference honors as the Great Northern Conference girls and Wisconsin Valley Conference boys hockey teams were announced.
Marshfield had two players selected to the All-Great Northern Conference Girls Hockey Team.
Senior defensemen Morgan Larson was named to the second-team, while teammate Kessa Schreiner, a junior, was an honorable mention choice for the Tigers.
Larson was eighth in the conference in scoring with 20 points (12 goals, eight assists). Her goal total was sixth in the GNC. Her 12 goals were twice as many as any other Tiger scored this season.
Schreiner scored six goals and had five assists for Marshfield.
Marshfield coach Don Larson was named the GNC Coach of the Year after the Tigers went 6-6 in conference play.
Northern Edge junior forward Katie Detert was named GNC Player of the Year.
Marshfield sophomore goalie Haydon Roy-Peterson and senior forward Zach Leggon were honorable mention choices on the 2014-15 All-Wisconsin Valley Conference Boys Hockey Team.
Leggon scored five of Marshfield’s 14 goals in league play this season. He also had two assists for the Tigers, who finished 1-10-1 in the WVC.
Roy-Peterson had 412 saves in 11 WVC games, with a save percentage of 87.3 percent, which was fifth-best in the conference.
Casey Esselman, a senior defenseman for Wisconsin Rapids, was named the Player of the Year after scoring 10 goals and dishing out a league-high 18 assists for the conference-champion Raiders.
