AUBURNDALE – Auburndale was held to just eight years pass, eight first downs and couldn’t muster a point, falling 35-0 to Tomahawk in its 2015 football season opener Friday night at Auburndale High School.
The Apaches committed three turnovers and was outgained 381-168 in the loss.
Quarterback Kaleb Kaminski threw for 188 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for 99 yards and three more scores for Tomahawk.
Kurt Jankowski rushed for 137 yards for Auburndale to account for most of its offensive output.
Auburndale returns to action Aug. 28 at Edgar.
