Columbus Catholic boys basketball beats Loyal for third-straight win

MARSHFIELD – Tyler Fuerlinger and Hunter Schultz each scored 22 points to lift the Columbus Catholic boys basketball team to a 81-63 win over Loyal in its Cloverbelt Conference East Division opener on Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Evan Nikolai added 15 points and Matthias Gouin had 10 for the Dons, who improve to 3-0 overall.

Cameron Brussow led Loyal with 18 points. The game was Loyal’s season-opener.

Columbus Catholic’s next game is Monday at home against Auburndale.
