WISCONSIN DELLS – The Spencer/Columbus Catholic wrestling team finished 3-2 to take third place in its pool at the Wisconsin Dells Duals Classic on Saturday.
Spencer/Columbus defeated Laconia 36-34, Fond du Lac 41-35, and Portage 51-21, and lost to Adams-Friendship 40-33, and Cumberland 42-36 to finish third out of six teams in Pool E.
Cumberland went 5-0 to win the pool.
Hunter Luepke went unbeaten for Spencer/Columbus at 220 pounds, winning three matches by pin, one by forfeit and another with a 7-0 shutout.
The Rockets host Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal in a Cloverbelt Conference dual on Thursday.
