UW-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball routs UW-Fox Valley

MARSHFIELD – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team returned to action after a month break with a resounding 67-36 victory over UW-Fox Valley on Wednesday night at the Marauder Gym.

Carrie Stroetz led the charge for UW-Marshfield, scoring 27 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Hayley Bunnell had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Allie Paitel added 10 rebounds, and Jazwanna Ross had 14 points in her Marauders’ debut.

Marshfield held a 66-32 rebounding advantage, which included 36 on the offensive end.

UW-Marshfield/Wood County (7-2) plays at UW-Marinette on Monday.
