Gilman races past Spencer girls basketball

SPENCER – Gilman held Spencer to 12 points in each half on its way to an 81-24 victory in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Tuesday at Spencer High School.

Gilman (10-7, 7-6 Cloverbelt East) raced out to a 48-12 lead by halftime and held the Rockets at bay throughout the game.

Lexi Baehr topped Spencer (2-15, 1-12 Cloverbelt East) with eight points.

Spencer hosts Loyal on Thursday.
