SUN PRAIRIE – The Marshfield volleyball team placed third in its pool, going 3-2 on Friday at the Sun Prairie Cardinals Kick-off Volleyball Tournament.
The Tigers lost to Neenah 25-15, 21-25, 17-15 and DePere 25-22, 25-13, before storming back to sweep three matches.
Marshfield beat Greendale 25-20, 25-20; Sun Prairie 25-11, 25-20; and Dodgeland 25-9, 25-13.
Tiffany Stargardt had team-highs in kills with 41 and service aces with nine in the five matches. She also had 32 digs.
Sarah Wolff had 92 assists, Mikala Sebastian had 24 kills and seven block kills, Darian Molter had 33 digs and Kim Johnson added 23 kills for the Tigers.
Marshfield begins bracket play at 8 a.m. Saturday.
