Columbus tennis wraps up GNC dual schedule with win

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls tennis team wrapped up its Great Northern Conference dual meet schedule with a 4-3 win over Antigo on Thursday at the Oak Street and University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County courts.

Elizabeth Manlick swept all 12 games from Ashley Reimer at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0, and Scout Inman won 6-1, 6-1 over Anna Zalewski at No. 2 singles to help the Dons (8-7 overall, 3-2 GNC) to the victory.

Columbus also won at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, losing only a total of four games.

Columbus plays at the Great Northern Conference Tournament on Sept. 23.
