MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield girls tennis team hosted a quadrangular tournament on Tuesday, finishing 1-2 in the three dual meets at Boson Tennis Complex.
Marshfield lost to La Crosse Central and River Falls, both 6-1, and defeated D.C. Everest 7-0.
Both wins for the Tigers against La Crosse Central and River Falls came from the No. 3 doubles team of Christina Chin and Ana Paape.
Winning for Marshfield against D.C. Everest were Jebina Devadas (No. 1 singles), Caitlyn Christensen (No. 2 singles), Brooklyn Dillinger (No. 3 singles), Ruhi Rhah (No. 4 singles), Emily Weis and Lauren Weigel (No. 1 doubles), Krupa Patel and Sydney Newmeier (No. 2 doubles), and Chin and Paape (No. 3 doubles).
Marshfield will compete at the Wausau West Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
