MARSHFIELD – Marshfield hosts the first Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament meet of the season on Thursday at Marshfield Country Club.
The Tigers finished fifth of the five teams with a nine-hole score of 233. Stevens Point shot a 166 to win the meet and was followed by Wausau East/West with a 191, D.C. Everest with a 209, and Wisconsin Rapids with a 213.
Anna Weis shot a 48, Morgan Meyer had a 49, Bryssa Lenz shot a 58, and Tia Campbell had a 78 for Marshfield.
Marshfield is off until Sept. 5 when it plays in the second WVC meet at Crane Meadows Golf Course in Wausau. D.C. Everest is the host.
