UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield women’s basketball team opens season with home loss to Marinette

MARSHFIELD – The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Marshfield women’s basketball team opened its 2019-20 season with a 53-24 loss to UW-Green Bay at Marinette on Saturday at the Marauder Gym.

Kara Milkey, a Wisconsin Rapids Assumption alum, had 10 points and Elizabeth Boudreau, a Nekoosa High School graduate, had eight points for the Marauders.

Other members on the UW-SP at Marshfield team this season are: Isabella Benson and McKenzie Vircks from Stanley-Boyd, Hailey Leau from Medford, Mary Ann Stangl from Marshfield, Montana Acker from Loyal, Sydney Peterson from Assumption, and Kaitlyn Langreck from Columbus.

The Marauders return to action Wednesday at UW-Stevens Point at Wausau.
