MILWAUKEE – The 2019 WIAA State Boys Soccer Tournament concluded Saturday, Nov. 9, with four divisional championship games at Uihlein Soccer Park.

The 38th annual state tournament was held Nov. 7-9.

Verona topped Neenah to win the Division 1 title in its first state tournament appearance.

In the Division 2 final, Brookfield East beat crosstown rival Brookfield Central in a shootout. The state title is East’s third, to go along with ones won in 1995, 1997 and 2014.

In Division 3, Shorewood tipped McFarland 2-1 for its second state title. Shorewood also won the Division 2 title in 1997.

Sturgeon Bay won the Division 4 title, beating Racine The Prairie School 2-1 in overtime. Sturgeon Bay, making its eighth state tournament appearance this decade, won its second title to go with one in 2015.
