Columbus Catholic girls basketball drops pair at Cranberry Classic

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team lost both of its games at the Cranberry Classic at Assumption High School over the weekend.

On Friday, Assumption beat Columbus 49-34, behind 16 points and 10 rebounds from Madalyn Bohn.

Addison Baierl scored 20 points but the Dons fell short in the second game of the tournament, falling to Nekoosa 42-36 on Saturday.

Columbus Catholic (1-3) returns to action Thursday with a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Spencer.
