UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield women’s basketball earns win over Washington County

APPLETON – Mary Ann Stangl and Montana Acker each scored 12 points to help lead the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Marshfield women’s basketball team to a 42-31 win over UW-Milwaukee at Washington County on Friday at the Champions Center.

Marshfield, playing with just five players, improve to 2-6 overall and in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference.

Hailey Leu added seven points, and Kaitlyn Langreck and Sydney Peterson both scored six for the Marauders.

Marshfield will play at Barron County on Jan. 22.
