Gilman tops Spencer girls basketball

GILMAN – The Spencer girls basketball team had three players finish in double figures but suffered a 57-41 loss to Gilman on Friday night at Gilman High School.

Spencer falls to 6-10 overall and 3-9 in the Cloverbelt East. Gilman improves to 10-5 and 7-5 in conference play.

Heavyn Kind and Ariyah Schuh each scored 11 points, Jorie Meyer added 10, Zalexis Mannigel had five, and Amber Becker and Elexa Post each chipped in two points for Spencer.

Gilman statistics were not reported.

Spencer returns to action Tuesday at Greenwood.
