The Marshfield High School boys soccer team will open WIAA postseason action Tuesday at New Richmond.
The Tigers, who are 8-12-2 heading into their regular-season finale Thursday against Wisconsin Rapids, were given the No. 10 seed in their 16-team sectional. New Richmond, the No. 7 seed, will host the Division 1 regional semifinal Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The winner will take on the winner of the No. 15 Merrill at No. 2 Chippewa Falls game on Oct. 14 in a Division 1 regional final.
The Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team is the No. 8 seed in its Division 3 sectional and will play a regional quarterfinal at 10 a.m. Saturday at Griese Park against Wisconsin Valley Lutheran. The winner moves on to a regional semifinal Tuesday at Chippewa Falls McDonell/Eau Claire Regis.
