Michaelis pours in 29 points to lead Marshfield girls basketball past Medford

MARSHFIELD – Maddie Michaelis hit six 3-pointers and scored a season-high 29 points to lead the Marshfield girls basketball team to a 65-42 nonconference win over Medford on Thursday night at Marshfield High School.

Michaelis was 10 of 18 shooting overall and 6-for-11 from 3-point range, while making all three of her free throw attempts.

Quincy Lang added 10 points, Abby Ongna had eight points and six rebounds, and Danielle Minsaas had eight points, seven assists and five steals for the Tigers, who improve to 6-12 this season. Medford drops to 9-7.
