Stratford boys basketball whips Rib Lake for fourth-straight win

STRATFORD – Jake Skroch led four Stratford players in double figures as the Tigers defeated Rib Lake 80-54 in a Marawood Conference boys basketball crossover game Thursday night at Stratford High School.

Skroch went 7-for-9 from the field and had a team-high 15 points for the Tigers, who finish the regular season with four-straight wins, a 13-8 overall record and a 9-7 mark in the Marawood South.

Caden Bruesewitz added 14 points on the strength of four 3-pointers, Zack Seitz had 12, and Cody Miller had 11 points and five rebounds for Stratford. Max Vanderhoof added six points and eight assists in the win.

Stratford will open postseason action with a WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal at home against Colby on Friday, Feb. 19.
