Spencer softball drops home game to Wittenberg-Birnamwood

SPENCER – Abi Fraaza hit two home runs and had four RBIs as Wittenberg-Birnamwood downed Spencer 11-1 in a nonconference softball game on Tuesday at ARC Park.

Spencer was held to six hits and scored its only run on an RBI single by Cassidee Widmann in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Madison Knecht had two hits, including a double, for the Rockets (1-10).

Spencer plays at first-place Greenwood/Loyal on Friday in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game.
