LA CROSSE – Three Marshfield athletes competed at the 2021 WIAA Division 1 State Track & Field Championships on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
None of the Tigers, competing in four events, won a top-six state medal.
Wyatt LeMoine came close, finishing seventh in the boys triple jump with a leap of 43 feet, 4½ inches, coming up 9½ inches short of a sixth-place finish. LeMoine also competed in the long jump, finishing 14th with a jump of 20-3.
Aubri Brown took 10th place in the girls discus with a throw of 109-8, and Sophie Nikolay tied for 18th place in the pole vault with a vault of 10 feet.
