Marshfield girls basketball downs Medford for first win of the season

MEDFORD – Danielle Minsaas scored 14 points, which included four 3-pointers, to help lift the Marshfield girls basketball team to its first victory of the season as it won 41-27 in a nonconference game at Medford on Tuesday night.

Loryn Jakobi added eight points for the Tigers, who are now 1-2 this season.

Marshfield will have a week off before hosting Wisconsin Rapids in its Wisconsin Valley Conference opener next Tuesday, Dec. 7.
