Stratford girls basketball loses at Neillsville

NEILLSVILLE – Emma Mosely scored 13 points to lead the Neillsville girls basketball team to a 55-21 win over Stratford in nonconference action Tuesday at Neillsville High School.

Neillsville (2-0) raced out to a 26-12 lead by halftime and finished off the win with a dominating second half, holding Stratford (0-3) to just nine points.

The Tigers made only six field goals in the loss and were 7-for-19 at the free throw line. Lauren Kraus scored nine points for Stratford.

Paige Voight added 10 points for the Warriors, who had 10 different players score in the victory.

Neillsville plays a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Gilman on Thursday, while Stratford will host Prentice for a Marawood Conference crossover game on Friday.
