Marshfield boys hockey shut out by Sauk Prairie in Culver’s Cup semifinal

MADISON – The Marshfield boys hockey team was shut out 8-0 by Sauk Prairie in a semifinal at the Culver’s Cup on Wednesday at the Madison Ice Arena.

The Tigers managed 24 shots on goal, but couldn’t get any past Sauk Prairie goalie Kaden Stracke.

Nick Mast had four goals and three assists for Sauk Prairie (8-2).

Marshfield falls to 7-4-1 and will play for third place at the tournament on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
