Columbus Catholic boys basketball nails 12 3-pointers, downs Milwaukee Reagan

MEQUON – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team started out hot and held on to defeat Milwaukee Reagan 69-48 in a game at the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Shootout on Wednesday at Concordia University.

The Dons rolled out to a 45-21 halftime lead and were able to maintain a big advantage the rest of the way.

Sam Wilczek had 15 points, Charlie Moore added 14 on the strength of four 3-pointers, and Emmitt Konieczny scored 11 for Columbus Catholic, which improves to 8-0 this season.

The Dons made 12 of 20 3-pointers in the victory.

Columbus Catholic will take on Fond du Lac St. Mary’s Springs at 10 a.m. Thursday. The game will be live at zaleskisports.com.
