WESTON – Aubri Brown won a pair of events and Sophie Nikolay tied for first in the pole vault to help Marshfield to a third-place finish at the Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Track True Team Meet on Tuesday at Stiehm Stadium at D.C. Everest High School.
Brown on the discus with a toss of 124 feet, 11 inches, and the shot put with a throw of 36-3.5, and Nikolay tied for first in the pole vault with a vault of 10-6 for the Tigers, who racked up 608.5 points.
Wausau West won the team title with 644.5 points, with D.C. Everest second with 626.5.
Ashley Grancorvitz added a pair of runner-up finishes for Marshfield, taking second in the 100-meter hurdles (18.04 seconds) and the long jump (15-9).
