Marshfield Senior Legion rolls past D.C. Everest

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Legion baseball team scored in five of its six at-bats and rolled to a 14-4 win over D.C. Everest in a Wisconsin Valley Legion League game Thursday night at Jack Hackman Field.

Riley Bauman continued his torrid hitting for the Blue Devils, going 2-for-3 with a double and five RBI.

Logan Homolka added three hits and two RBI, and Colton Schillinger had a double and drove in two as well for Marshfield (11-7, 6-2 WVLL).

Nick Urban earned the pitching win for Marshfield, striking out seven in 5 2/3 innings.

Marshfield hosts Eau Claire for a non-league game Friday at 6 p.m. at Hackman Field. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
