OWEN – The Spencer volleyball team lost its Cloverbelt Conference East Division opener at Owen-Withee on Tuesday, falling 25-21, 25-18, 25-14.
Hannah Reckner had eight kills, Alexa Stange had 16 digs and Hallie Meyer had 13 assists for Spencer.
The Rockets will play a nonconference match at Pittsville on Thursday.
