The Marshfield girls hockey team is ranked eighth in the first Wissports.net State Coaches Poll, which was released Thursday.
The Tigers are off to a 4-0 start, outscoring their opponents 31-2 to begin the season.
Central Wisconsin Storm is ranked No. 1, followed by St. Croix Valley Fusion and University School of Milwaukee.
Marshfield is off until Dec. 10 when it hosts Northland Pines. The Tigers host the Storm on Dec. 20.
